Biography

Graduated from the Faculty of Law, Keio University in 1971 and graduated from the School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University in 1975 after working at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo. In 2021, completed the doctoral program at the Graduate School of Management, Kyoto University. Ph.D. (Business Science).

Joined Hilton Hotels Corporation in the United States in 1975 and was assigned to the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. After working at Hotel New Otani and Tokyo Bay Hilton (currently Hilton Tokyo Bay), he became the president of NHV Hotels International Co., Ltd., a hotel management company in Nagasaki Huis Ten Bosch in 1991 and launched five hotels.

Founded The Windsor Hotels International Co., Ltd. in 1997 and assumed the post of President and General manager, working on the reconstruction of The Windsor Hotel Toya Resort & Spa in Hokkaido.

In 2008,this hotel hosted the G8 Hokkaido Toyako Summit as main venue.

In 2012, he became president of PGH Enterprise Co., Ltd. and established International Tourism Hospitality Research Institute Co., Ltd. in 2015. He works on the implementation of service management using service science through hotel management support and human resources development projects.
